I sure hope they do, Peter. More important, do YOU bank here?
(UNASHAMED SALES PITCH WARNING!!)
2nd, what good is History without the chuckle factor? My grandpa used to drone on for hours about family history, but I had an uncle whose quick stories about the past were hilarious. I became an Historian -- probably not without Uncle Bill, though.
Hi Faith --
By today's standards it is. People are moving slowly away from eating too much of animal foods because of the health benefits (of cutting down) and the one-world consciousness of not harvesting live beings for lunch.
But by 1915 standards, this image represents the excitement of the Holiday Season. Just like a Christmas Tree was pretty benign until recently -- now, everyone sees destruction of the forests for no good reason.
The lesson here? CONSCIOUSNESS itself is the March of History! (I'll stop now...)
