Put your hands together for Blog Action Day! It's a once a year thing where bloggers everywhere write about the same topic. This is the first year for me, so even though it may not sound like the most exciting title, Blog Action Day promotes an awesome cause: saving our environment!
What can we islanders do to make a difference? I know many of you have seen that tiny patch of "what-cha-ma-call-it" in the corner of Isla Del Sol, and since there hasn't been progress as a house, I'm planning to turn it into a community garden! What do you think? Share your ideas on how to make it purty like all the other ones on the island.
Hmm...let's see. Other than that, I don't use paper cups and save used paper to recycle as scratch paper. So tell me, what have you been doing to be more green? Share with us and see who's the most creative!

I think we (people) use a TON of power (electricity), so I'm trying to turn off my computer at night, and try to keep most of our lights turned off. Good thing on S.I u don't get electrictiy bills! (No ideas..ok? lol, I'm poor already!)

For about a year now, I noticed that I drive less than before. I went from about 18,000 miles a year down to 6,000 maybe.
Oh. and I planted a tree with my parents a year ago lol

I don't know onetruegod...my land looks kinda lumpy to me...Lol
...and I've scoped out your garden, it looks so nice! I don't want to build mine by it, mine's like one flower and 2 pots and yours is like the bontanical gardens!
I may just need to consult your expertise! =)

i have a garden is isle de sole as well, its near where u are, u ought to go check it out some time, i wanted to make it bigger, but again the land problem became an issue.
if u need ideas u can look at it, your land is a little better, its flat, so you don't have to add in the different elevations like mine.
