Thanks to all the users who submitted their awesome ideas for the name of the SI$! For all of you that missed the "What's New" post, the new island moolah name is shells!
Since shells are worth more than the island bucks we all had before, the economy looks a little different. Yeah, as scary as that may sound, it's not so bad. It's not like performing brain surgery or anything, but just gives the island currency extra value and makes it worth mega more.
That said, if you notice changes in your balances, don't be alarmed. Everyone in world will be experiencing the same thing! Don't pass out — and no, the aliens didn't come back and raid us — it just our way of getting the shells out of the sand and into the bank.
And very, very soon, you'll be signing up to get a job and starting to earn way more, so stack up your high value shells and start using them today!
so whats the deal with shell value then? how many shells to the dollar, i guess is what im asking
So the shell exchange is actually happening in tiers...all the billionaires will get the same amount, all the millionaires will get the same, and so on...so you'll still have the same status on the island, just with a different currency.

Cassie - I tried downloading the game on my PC by clicking the "current members" link on the right, but nothing happened. Do I have to create a new account?

You shouldn't have to get a new account - once you click the "current members" button, it should prompt an automatic download.
