New to the island? Our "Member Spotlight" is a great way to get your name and friendly island face known! It's a brand new feature we're adding to the Community site, and we want YOU to help us vote for the first featured island celebrity!
Once a month, we will poll the island and see who you nominate to be the "Member in the Spotlight." All you have to suggest your candidates is post their names. After the votes are counted, the winning islanders will have their profile and photo featured, so everyone can see and get to know them!
Since this is the first month, we won't be polling just yet — but we do have something very special in store for you…
To kick off this awesome feature, we're going to start it off with a smashing BAM! by featuring the winner of this year's Summer Games that are taking place August 7th at 4pm PT. Yup! One lucky competitor will have his or her profile on the site for all islanders to see!
So post who you think will take home the title this year, and if you want a chance to win it — join in the competition!

I think the nominee should be a person that don't harass other islanders and very helpful at showing newbies the what abouts and that has very unique building ideas. I think Freckles fits all the criteria so I would like to nominate Freckles. Shes an all around super islander.

I see no one voted for me so far. ((little pun)).If I were elected : ) ,not just because I'm handsome,rich,fun,kind,understanding,sweet,educated,but because I'm not afraid of oil and gas or of chicken little story that the sky is falling .I would drill off shore for oil because I know as of today our economy needs it to function and grow .Then I would gather the islands great minds together to harvest and make coconut oil to run our cars and factories . I'm RandyLH and I approve of this message

Awe thanks Freckles ,yep I was there when the first island rock was make and i know what Christopher Columbus felt like when he first landed in the new world.Fishy is right ,so many to pick from. maybe we can cast a vote for the whole bunch . Lol @ Cassie :P
