Thank you to all the island peeps who've submitted their ideas...you all rock! And yes, you all made it very hard for the island team to decide too, because ALL the ideas were so good!

We're now in the "moment" of selecting and making the final decision of what the name and theme will be. Hang tight and stay tuned...I'll let you all know as soon as I get a chance.

As for the Member Spotlight, we already have the winner, but are waiting for the mysterious islander to submit their photo. Keep an eye on that, and see who will be joining the island Hall of Fame soon!

While we buzz about the new neighborhood, don't forget to head to GCK and pick up our limited edition fits!

Yes, it's exactly how it sounds! Lostpoet has built a home stashed full of cars and great interior designs…but the main attraction (for me at least!) is the pool.

 

Why, you ask? Simple. It's a pool made of grass!

Well, kind of. It's more like the pool is actually a big puddle right smack in the middle of a grassy field, and somehow the ledges all got trimmed to make it seem like a big bowl. It's really different and worth checking out! If you haven't taken a dip in the puddle yet, definitely swing by and take a peek!

Also, thanks for all the submissions about the new neighborhood! The island peeps will be putting their thinking caps on, and I'll let you know which name and design will be put into virtual reality! Woot!

A big thank you to all the islanders that submitted their ideas and creative designs! The Stagecoach Island team has narrowed it down to the following names:

1. Surf Village
2. Golden Beach
3. Sunrise Beach
4. Emerald Lagoon
5. Surf 'N' Turf City

Now, take a look and pick one you like the most! And definitely tell us what you'd like the new island neighborhood to have that fits the name — a theme, color, decorations, design...all that good stuff!

The island clock is ticking, and you only have till Wednesday, June 24, to get your ideas in, so hurry up and submit your ideas! Who knows? You might be able to watch them spring to life in the new island neighborhood!

Oh, for the record, we really liked everyone's submissions! So if you don't see yours up here, it's only because of some possible complicated programming thingies. Sorry! But here's your chance to still be a part of the whole awesome neighborhood building!

For those that have seen Darth's Garage, you know that's where all the car magic happens on the island! He's brought the first garage to the island — fully loaded, styling, and packed full of car-fixing goodies like jacks, tools, and almost everything your island self might need to smooth out your ride!

The garage is located right across the street from Darthvader's pad at 129 S 138E. If you still haven't taken a peek, check it out! And if you want some tuning done on your island car, better shoot him a tele and reserve a spot before he gets super busy!

P.S. Final ideas for the new island neighborhood design are due today. If you haven't already submitted your creative stuff, hurry up and do it...the island clock is ticking!

The votes are in, and the new neighborhood will be located in area “B!”

Yep, that’s right! So now that we officially have the location and home of the new land plots, it’s time to decide on a theme and name. Nothing is off-limits and it’s all about creativity — take a look at the surroundings, location, and use your island imagination! Submit your idea, and we’ll see if it’s the one to make it into island history!

Remember: It can be any theme, like “Surf Village,” for example. All ideas and neighborhood names need to be posted by next Monday, 6/15 to count!

It's now time to vote on where the new neighborhood will be located! Take a look at the pic below and you'll see 3 different locations — and yes, they're all on water.

Now it' up to you to vote for A, B, or C — and see which of these spots will house the new neighborhood! Once we get the location down, we're going to be asking for ideas of themes and names, so be thinking about that too!

What's the lucky letter going to be? Hurry and submit your vote!

So it's that time of year again, and yes...we're bringing you a new neighborhood! This time around, we're not creating it though — we're going to have all of you help us design it!

How, you ask? Simple. Over the next few days, we'll be posting a series of blogs asking all of you in the community to submit ideas, design, and vote! The neighborhood will be something built in the ocean, and yes...you get to pick the location!

But it doesn't end there! One lucky islander's idea will be brought to life by the island — your design will be the new neighborhood!

So stay tuned...it's all happening in a blink of an eye!

OK, so many of you islanders who are newbies may be wondering how to get a hold of me, right? (If not, just smile and nod. Seriously, it'll make me feel better.)

Well, it's easy as pie (yum!): All you have to do is follow the easy steps below to add me to your friends list!

1. Select the "Friends" tab (from the tabs on the left, or press F9)
2. Right click in the white space
3. Select "Add contact"
4. Type in "Cassie"
5. Hit "Enter" and voila! I'm 'grammable!

RandyLH's done it again! He's taken the Mushroom Railway Station and revamped it to a whole new level, adding not only awesome boxcars, but even an ice skating rink!

 

As you can see from the pics, the train carts each have their own theme and decoration — super trendy and creative! Just take a look at it "choo-choo-ing" around into the station, and how patient the mushroom islanders are as they wait for their train to arrive!

And if you haven't seen the ice skating rink, you've got to check it out! It's right outside the station — and hey, if your train is running late, what better to do than to go for a spin on ice?

 

So what are you waiting for? Come catch an island train ride at the revamped Mushroom Station today! See ya there!

Yes, as you islanders have probably noticed, the sun still hasn't set yet, but it's night time!

No worries, we've got the island techies working on fixing the weather, and the night will soon fall upon the island once again! Until then, soak up the sun and enjoy the never setting sun in a beach cabana in Isla Del Sol, or bask in the hot sun in Desert Hollow. With summer just around the corner, let's start celebrating it on the island!
