Last chance to tell your "Someday Story" dream

Today when I made a deposit at a Wells Fargo ATM, up popped a message about our Someday StoriesSM promotion, which runs through July 25.

Now, I realize should've brought this cool contest to your attention earlier, so my apologies. You've only got a few days left to enter!

The Someday StorySM contest is all about you and your someday. Someday you'll go to medical school, someday you'll pay off your student loans and start that nonprofit organization you've been dreaming of — you get the idea. All you have to do is tell us the true and aspiring story of your "Someday" dream, and your winnings could help make it real.

Here's how it works:

Share with us your Someday Story hopes for a chance to win $100,000. Each week a story will be selected to win $1,000 as "The Story of the Week." On September 17, we'll narrow the submissions to the top five, whose story will be filmed for the website. Once the videos are up, it's in the hands of the visitors to the website who will vote for their favorite story.

Visitors to the site also will get to vote for one of three worthy causes — Boys & Girls Clubs of America Click here to learn about third-party website links, Habitat for Humanity Click here to learn about third-party website links, and Junior Achievement Click here to learn about third-party website links — to give them a chance to win too. Wells Fargo will donate up to $250,000 for the cause that gets the most votes.

Check out the contest rules for all the necessary legalese, including how to enter online or by mail.

What are you waiting for? Tell us your "Someday" today!

I am 51 years old and have survived 2 major cancer surgeries, years of drug addiction, and 2 1/2 yrs. in prison. I've been clean for 4 yrs. working 2 jobs and desparetly trying to find the money I need to finish my degree in auto-cad. I defaulted my loan when I quit school for my 1st cancer surgury.I didnt know the proper procedure and honestly didnt think I"d be going back.My dream now is to get an education and move to joplin Mo. to be with my son and grandchildren, without being an added expense or burden. My health is not good and I know I'm running out of time. Someday I will be able to look back ,know that I'm one of the "very" few that overcome all of my diseases, be proud of my accomplishments and enjoy the rest of my life the way God intended it to be

Hi stacey! My names miles. And "someday" I hope to become a professional skateboarder. Im on my way there. All I need is 2500 dollars to buy a used car off my best friend. Then I could go anywhere to skate and hopefully someday I can get paid to skateboard. All the money I make goes to my family to help out as much as I can. Have an awesome day stacey!

Hey Melanie and Miles--Thanks for sharing your "Someday" dreams with us! Please be sure to tell them on the official "Someday Stories" web site (wellsfargo.com/somedaystories), because as a Wells Fargo team member, I'm not allowed to submit anything. I'd hate for you to miss out because of a technicality!

Hi I'm 44 years old,I am a widow
for 5 years, and I also have 5 kids, plus I have to take care of my sister and her family ,
because one of her son had cancer before (had survived now)
as a widow , life it's not easy,
I been working really hard,
now I have a debt problem,
I wish and been dreaming about
Someday" living Debt free,
thank you Wells Fargo for this contest,my dream about "SOMEDAY"" living with a debt free life... might come true by winning this contest.

jeane, be sure to submit your "Someday" dream of living debt-free on the official web site at wellsfargo.com/somedaystores. There's only one day left!

Someday...
Someday, I will be able to pay that last student loan, look back on the 30 years spent paying these loans back, and finally get to take my income and do something worthwhile. I'm almost 25 years old and paying back my entire education. One loan said I will be 37 before I'm finished paying off just that one loan. 12 years is a LONG ways away. I know that until I can pay off some of my loans, I won't be able to travel like I've always wanted. I can't have a baby yet, because I can barely afford all the bills I currently have, yet alone another person. I won't be able to afford a wedding, or a car that actually works. I will have to spend my money on rent, instead of saving up for a house down payment. Someday, I hope to look back on this time and think that I made it through...and someday, I hope to make enough money so that my children do not have to wait until they're in their 50s.
