We are officially welcoming all the new features to the island on Weds the 31st. Because of the changes, the island will be offline for a few hours today (12pm-3pm PST) while everything is being updated. Also, building is going to be turned off until Wednesday at noon. Don’t worry, we’ll be up and running again before you know it. Thank you for everyone for being patient and understanding – the new revamped island is going to rock!
When you visit the ATM, you’ll notice a change in your “virtual bank” account. All dollars have been exchanged for “shells” – the new Stagecoach Island currency. Don’t be alarmed if you now have fewer shells than dollars – everyone’s accounts have been updated to the new shell system. They’re worth much more anyhow. If you have questions, post them on the Feedback page. Happy spending!

Hey Chung399 - you can buy land now. Just go to the ATM and take the mortgage lesson - after that, you can buy anywhere you want.
Plus, if you don't like it, you can always sell it back to the island. Woot!

What happened to our pocket money?
Since everything has been converted RM - the pocket money was all transferred to your savings so just remember to fill up your checking before you go shopping. =)
Who wants to be carrying around such a big chunk of change anyways? Well, don't answer that, I never minded either. =)
I have over 500,000 Shells. I don't build. Can I write some ppl a check and give away my Shells?
Hey there Tart Sugar (awesome name!) You can transfer shells to your friends but only 1,000 shells max and once a month - so pick wisely who you want to gift shells to! =)
