You have to check out the Warp Palace (it was introduced to me by zaklovesgum)—It's a total trip...and I mean that literally. You'll actually be teleported on a little 'trip' to a hidden hot spot in the sky! The coordinates are 154S 105W and just for a heads up, when you first arrive on the ground - you'll see this obscure brick building with no roof. All you have to do is walk up close to the front door and *poof* - you'll get teleported higher and higher 'til you finally reach the getaway and enter the fab Warp Palace.

After I had a chance to check it out, I went to visit the islanders and was, of course, caged (again) by lostpoet. But hey - at least I wasn't the only one this time! Everyone was chased by that evil thing! The evidence is below...and no laughing at me!

A big round of applause to all the islanders that came out and boogied down to the beats of grad night! It was awesome and lots of fun! I mean, just take a look at our photos below...

We had a great time, and I give props to those that were not afraid to dance with the 3 legged gals! This was due to a wardrobe/dress issue-but they were still fashionable! I'd like to believe that at least...although RandyLH probably thinks otherwise!

Overall, it was a cute little reminder of Prom: exchanging stories of rented tuxes and not having a ride to the party. Good times!

I know you guys think I'm obsessed with cupcakes — and I'm not saying I'm not — but when I was taking a walk the other day, I came across a cupcake patch! There I was, hanging out by the Career Center, and *poof*…it's a cupcake patch!

The weirdest thing is it disappears. The only way to get to and see it is to click on the fireworks billboard in the City Center — when it teleports you, spin around quick…and voila! You'll see the mystery cupcake garden!

There's a new trendy burger joint in Olympic Valley brought to you by simgirl1111 and RandyLH! It features a classic interior and some upscale designs, along with plenty of tables so you don't have to worry about a long wait! If you're curious about the burger patties, you can actually watch them as they're being made and flipped — it's awesome!

The best part? It has to be the live band that's playing smash hits on the second floor! There's also an outside patio for all the islanders who want to enjoy the nice sunshine and snow, especially since the weather's been so nice lately.

So don't sit around and twiddle your thumbs, go check it out and grab yourself a burger today!

P.S. Whopper wants everyone to know that he is back on the island and is ready to work! He's currently a waiter, so if anyone is looking to hire, drop him a tele!

Lots of us got together over the weekend to celebrate some pretty amazing dates in June: Father's Day , Flag Day , Baseball Hall of Fame Opening Day , and (as dubbed by lostpoet) Friend Day! Not only did we share stories, speeches, poems, we also created some really warm and touching memories. But the best part was topping it all off with a BEAUTIFUL fireworks show from lostpoet!

Genie7's faves were the yellow back burners that reminded us of Tinkerbell's pixie dust  (from Peter Pan), and mine were the twinkly blue and purple fireworks that looked like sprinkles on a cupcake. Yum!

If you haven't visited the Career Center lately, you should! Summer festivities are just about here, and you want to make sure to have some moolah  in your pocket!

So what are your plans? Heading on an awesome vacation (I'm going to be SO jealous!), spending time with the family, or are you just going to sit back and drown out to reality TV all day? I mean, it's all good if you want to do that — but personally, I'm going to be hitting the beach in Isla Del Sol and hopefully getting a nice tan.

Oh, and I'm definitely going to get a summer job too. This time I might sign up to be something like a fire juggler…and challenge myself a bit!

What about you? Come on…you KNOW you want to juggle fire too! *wink*

As many of you know, graduation is right around the corner, and we're sending lots of big virtual congrats and hugs to these special graduates on the island! You guys rock! We have a question for all you islanders! What tool do you use the most in SI to learn about financial stuff? Is it the Learning Lounge, SIRS building, Career Center, other islanders or something else? Please tell us!

Why are we asking? Simple. We have a big, real world bus that goes around to a few towns in California — visiting schools, showing students fun and cool things on the island, and helping them learn skills to be smart about their money!

Made you look! No, I'm not serving pancakes, and there isn't any syrup here — but the title will make sense if you read the rest of the story.

There's been a lot of car bumping in world this weekend. I mean, I was in GCK trying to pick up this month's new fashion, only to have Brice and a few others drive in and almost flatten me like a pancake!

 

Also, if you've tried to buy the new fashions for June, keep your eyes peeled. They're on their way — hot out of the oven! Wait it out like a champ, and you'll be the first to see the newest styles when they drop onto the island shores and into stores!
