So it's that time of year again, and yes...we're bringing you a new neighborhood! This time around, we're not creating it though — we're going to have all of you help us design it!

How, you ask? Simple. Over the next few days, we'll be posting a series of blogs asking all of you in the community to submit ideas, design, and vote! The neighborhood will be something built in the ocean, and yes...you get to pick the location!

But it doesn't end there! One lucky islander's idea will be brought to life by the island — your design will be the new neighborhood!

So stay tuned...it's all happening in a blink of an eye!

We're closing in on the Member Spotlight voting, and we can't wait to see the submissions from all you islanders! Don't forget: This month's theme is the "Best House Designer" — all you have to do is enter a house design, and the community will vote on it.

If you're the winner, you'll not only be the designer of the coolest spring house, but also the newest member to grace the islander hall of fame in our Member Spotlight!

So what are you waiting for? Submit quick...the island clock is ticking!

A quick head's up: This coming Monday, all of us on the island will be honoring Memorial Day! 

What's it all about? Well, Memorial Day (aka Decoration Day) was established in Waterloo, New York, back in 1866 to pay tribute to the brave men and women who served our country. The island is just one of the many communities that'll celebrate the day in loving memory of the ones we've lost.

We'll be back on Tuesday, so hang tight if you have questions or comments. In the meantime, from all of us here, have a wonderful Memorial Day!

OK, so many of you islanders who are newbies may be wondering how to get a hold of me, right? (If not, just smile and nod. Seriously, it'll make me feel better.)

Well, it's easy as pie (yum!): All you have to do is follow the easy steps below to add me to your friends list!

1. Select the "Friends" tab (from the tabs on the left, or press F9)
2. Right click in the white space
3. Select "Add contact"
4. Type in "Cassie"
5. Hit "Enter" and voila! I'm 'grammable!

I'm here to help with anything. So if you have questions with building, community, taxes, island jobs, §hells, new ideas, or just want to share some feedback — definitely drop me a tele! Of course, you can always post your thoughts here too.

RandyLH's done it again! He's taken the Mushroom Railway Station and revamped it to a whole new level, adding not only awesome boxcars, but even an ice skating rink!

 

As you can see from the pics, the train carts each have their own theme and decoration — super trendy and creative! Just take a look at it "choo-choo-ing" around into the station, and how patient the mushroom islanders are as they wait for their train to arrive!

And if you haven't seen the ice skating rink, you've got to check it out! It's right outside the station — and hey, if your train is running late, what better to do than to go for a spin on ice?

The new May fashions are now at GCK! Come decorate your wardrobe with these new bright and floral colors!

Girls will be rocking out with a warm mauve top with an adorable green stripe scarf, and boys will be strutting their stuff in two layered tees — one yellow and the other in bright blue. If you haven't seen them already, definitely stop in for a peek.

Yes, as you islanders have probably noticed, the sun still hasn't set yet, but it's night time!

No worries, we've got the island techies working on fixing the weather, and the night will soon fall upon the island once again! Until then, soak up the sun and enjoy the never setting sun in a beach cabana in Isla Del Sol, or bask in the hot sun in Desert Hollow. With summer just around the corner, let's start celebrating it on the island!
