Congrats to the two amazing islanders that suggested these ideas — and really to everyone that voted! You all came up with such awesome ideas that, even after much consideration, it was very hard for the SI techies to narrow it down to one theme.

But they finally managed to...and it's Victorian!

Yes! I'm throwing on my island gear because we now have a baseball field on the island! I'm super excited about it, so play ball!

Go and check out the game at 116s 130e in Desert Hollow! It's Team Blue versus Team Red, and there's already a runner on first base. There's a batter at the plate, and the pitcher is ready to go full force...how exciting!

Now if there was only a popcorn cart or garlic fries stand, I'd build a virtual tent right next to the field!

 

If you haven't seen this new hot spot, go take a look! We've had football fields and tennis courts, but this is an island first. So welcome the new island baseball field! And congrats to the genius behind it – you've built another attraction for all islanders to enjoy!

Lostpoet has done it again (and again, and again...), bringing his creativity to the island! This time he's made a super fancy house, decorated with flowers, vaulted ceilings — all the good stuff — and plopped it right into Desert Hollow! It's a bit like a cottage, but bigger and better! Just take a look at the pics!

The new July fashions have finally dropped into GCK!

For the girls, this month we have headphones on different hair colors. It's different than anything we've ever had, and it will only be available for a limited time. Don't hesitate, and head over to pick up some today!

Yes, it's happened! HaileyHorse15 has started a Green movement on the island, and has built an awesome green house equipped with windmills and reusable and renewable energy! Just take a peek at the pics below!

 

If you haven't had a chance to catch a glimpse of this "Go Green" green house, be sure to drop in for a quick visit! There are beds for people to rest in, and a very plush garden with every flower imaginable — the minute you walk in, I'm sure you'll feel the warmth of the ecosystem. Besides, the green leafy heart out front is a sight to see by itself! Don't miss out, and drop in for a tour!

As for the Member Spotlight, we already have the winner, but are waiting for the mysterious islander to submit their photo. Keep an eye on that, and see who will be joining the island Hall of Fame soon!
