I know, I know...all of you are saying, "So when can we see it?"

Well, I've been working fast and furiously on the testing, and it's almost there! The new stuff is really cool, and it's about to drop on the island very, very soon. Oh by the way, someone already guessed right on what it is: Congrats Genie7!

In the meantime, while we're spiffying up everything and polishing the buildings, we want to make sure that every islander can get a feel for what's coming! So let's start with a few teaser screenshots — just think of it like the "new features trailer," but less of a video thing.

Okay, so maybe not a trailer, but it's definitely a sneak peek into the new and exciting stuff that we've got going on the D/L!

Hey, with the new stuff coming and the holidays around the corner...why don't we get together and have a HUGE island bash!? I personally think having a "Hot Cocoa Snowboard Party" is always the way to go, but I'm totally up for ideas!

Let's make it happen! Everybody good with Monday, November 30th as the party date? It's the end of November and the beginning of the official snowy season of December, so we'll go out with a BIG island bang!

Yea or nay? Give a shout! Plus, let me know if you've got a cool pad to host. I've kinda been thinking of Randy's spot in the snowy neighborhood since he's got an ice skating rink, but let's see if anyone can top that idea! Post 'em up!

 
 

With the holidays just around the corner, we're seeing some pretty sweet homes pop up, filled with candy canes and pine trees — just take a look at the featured holiday house below! This one is filled with holiday goodness from the warm and cozy fireplace, to the Christmas lights all surrounding the house with their bright glow!

If you haven't checked it out yet, definitely go by and take a peek. You can almost smell the gingerbread and spices when you go in! Oh, not to mention it's built in our beautiful snowy neighborhood, making the home all the toastier!

 
 
 
 

My favorite is actually the "bay window seat" (the comfy bench with the hot chocolate and books you can snuggle up with)! It's just a perfect little spot! I mean, it's right next to the crackling fireplace, and you can even see out to the snowy mountains of the island — all while sipping on yummy cocoa! Mmm....

Yes, I have been M.I.A. for a few days because I caught the icky flu bug! So if you're feeling something coming on, bundle up around the island! I've had the worst sniffles and cough — anyone else caught it?

It's getting colder, and while the scarves, ice skating, pumpkin spiced drinks and hot cocoa are plopping down everywhere, so are the germies! Beware! Since I got defeated by it, I thought I'd share some tips to stay "flu-free" as much as possible for the holiday season!

• Wash your hands!
• Sneeze into the crook of your elbow
• Use hand sanitizers
• Keep your hands away from face

I know, I know, these sound like simple easy things — but they make all the difference! Sneezing into the crook of your elbow makes it harder for germs on your hands to touch your face, and last thing you want to do is smudge your island self with germs!

So, just a few tips just in case! 'Cause you never know...they just might come in handy!
