Wells Fargo Rewards® Customers, The Earn More Mall (SM) Site Is Open

On August 4th I posted A Wachovia Possibilities Rewards® Program Update, and a couple of you made some comments about keeping the Earn More MallSM site. (Special thanks to Jamison and Ryan for your respective thoughts!)

The Earn More Mall program in Wachovia Possibilities Rewards allows rewards cardholders to earn bonus points (these are in addition to the regular points you'd get) and get exclusive discounts for purchases made at participating merchants. You simply log in to the rewards web site to take advantage of these offers.

The participating stores (there are close to 500!) include online places you are likely to shop, such as Target Click here to learn about third-party website links, Macys Click here to learn about third-party website links and iTunes. It also includes in-store offers at places like DSW Click here to learn about third-party website links, Sally Beauty Click here to learn about third-party website links, and others.

With the integration, we have reviewed the features of both the Wachovia and the Wells Fargo rewards programs to determine what will be offered on a go forward basis at Wells Fargo.

I'm happy to let you know the Earn More Mall program will continue for Wachovia card holders as it has in the past. Also, Wells Fargo was so impressed with this program we also launched an initial version of the Earn More Mall site for our Wells Fargo customers last month!

Having access to new features and programs is one of the benefits of the integration of Wells Fargo and Wachovia. For more information, visit either the Wells Fargo or Wachovia Earn More Mall sites.

And as always, please keep letting us know what you think!

I am glad that Wells Fargo is keeping the Earn More Mall.

It is great to earn an extra bonus for stores I would be shopping at anyways! It is nice to see Wells Fargo is looking for ways to keep the best of both companies, and I hope that behavior continues with the go-forward checking products.

I've noticed some online stores that are on Wachovia's site (like Best Buy, Dell, HP) are not on Wells Fargo's site. Is Wells Fargo planning to add more stores to its Earn More Mall?

Problem: Wells Fargo charges an annual fee for their Rewards program; Wachovia does not. What are the future plans on that situation?

As someone who is crazy about credit card reward points, I am quite glad that the Earn More Mall will also be available to Wells Fargo customers such as myself. I will collect some more points before I redeem the ones I have though.

Good job Wells Fargo and Wachovia!

Will Wachovia ever launch the Iphone App for Wachovia Mobile. its sad that all big financial institution have mobile banking app. and not wachovia. Will Wachovia ever offer VISA PAYWAVE Feature for the debit cards?

I have a suggestion. I just saw that Suntrust is doing with Delta. Using your debit card to earn points for skymiles for Delta. This would be awesome for Wachovia/Wells fargo. I know we have the possibilities, but i think it would eb more benetifical with the actual airline

Why would I pay 12.00 a month to maintain a savings account that receives $.58 a month interest? I closed my accounts and went to a Credit Union where it is "totally" free banking, except for buying checks. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

Anonymous, thanks for the comment. We recognize there are some differences between the two Earn More Malls, and we continuously look at opportunities to include quality merchants with strong offers. Because of on-going discussions with various merchants, we cannot commit to saying which vendors will be added to the WF Earn More Mall. Keep checking back though for new additions.

@ Joey. I saw that Wells Fargo is no longer disclosing the annual $19 fee, so I think the rewards fee has been eliminated.

@dennycrane. I don't know what savings account you had at Wells Fargo or Wachovia that charges $12 a month, so it really makes your comment look childish when you cannot even state the facts. Besides, savings accounts are not for earning money (there are investments for that), they are for saving money.

The only bank i know that charge 12 for a saving monthly fee driven is CHASE-WAMU.

As a customer of both Wells and Wachovia, it is pretty obvious that Wachovia has better banking products (Way2Save, Credit card rewards program, etc). I'm glad that WFC is keeping WB's programs. Now, if WFC can also adopt WB's customer service excellence and limit the cross-selling, that would be even more amazing...

the wells fargo rewards program has been more and more free, if your a current wells fargo credit card owner... or were paying for it before... call up the credit card company your rewards should curently be free... and wiht enhanced rewards using debt and credit you should be in the clear... at least in the market i currently work the rewards are free to current and are a benefit of new CC holders

Can any wells fargo representive confirm. is Wachovia still charge for speak to representative. If it more than two call person $2.00. Wachovia is no longer charging this fee as of Aug 13. 2009 due to wells fargo merger?

I am a Wells Fargo customer and I received a mail out stating that I could join the reward program for a $12 annual fee. If I charge $20,000 and receive 1 point for every $4 that is 5,000 points (the equivalent of $50 gift card). Basically, I would net $38 annually. Not worth it to me. I would join if it was free.
