Hey blog readers, the new integration newsletters have been posted!

If you've been following along here on the blog, you probably know most all the info in them already, but we wanted to make sure you were aware that they're out there for you.

Oh, and we also have Spanish versions available to read online as well.

All of you, our Wells Fargo and Wachovia customers, will begin to see these newsletters enclosed with their statements — unless, of course, you've gone paperless (thank you!). In which case, just click on the respective pics below.

Hello Doug,

this would be a great time to let customers know what their banking packages will be grandfather into once conversion begins. from what i have researched.

Wachovia Free Checking will become Wells Fargo Free Checking with all the existing wachovia free bill pay, online banking, no maintaince fee.

Wachovia Access Fifty will become Well Fargo Access Fifty keep all exisiting benefits.

Wachovia Free Student Checking will become Well Fargo College Combo® * not sure if COLLEGE CONNECTION would be grandfathered.

Please Give More Insight into what these package will include.

(ALL EXISTING WACHOVIA CHECK CARD will Become Wells Fargo Platinum Check Card w/ Blink Feat. Similar to Chase Blink & MC Paypass.)

I moved from Nebraska to Florida and am unable to use any WF services (except for ATM) at Wachovia. I feel totally abandoned with only promises of a future merger.

Frank, as always, thanks for your comments and for your interest in our products. We certainly understand that you and other customers are interested in what your deposit products will look like after the integration. We continue to work on the details in order to ensure that you have the best experience possible. Our goal is to convert you into products whose features and benefits are similar to what your currently enjoy. When it is time for your state to change over, you will receive information about your specific accounts and entire relationship with us, detailing any changes you can expect. We hope this blog serves as a great resource for many aspects of the integration. But when it comes to communicating information about deposit products, we prefer that customers reference the “What To Expect” mailings because there can be differences between states and types of relationships customers have.

Why did Wachovia remove from Online banking the line in the Account overviewed that showed the interest rate that our savings, crown checkin, and money market accounts are earning?????? Since these accounts have variable rates this was the only way we can find out when you guys change the rates on us...... Does Wells Fargo have something to hide and don't believe their depositors have the right to know what interest rate they are being paid for their deposits?

Hey BlindedByWachovia, sorry for the delay in responding to your comment. These changes were made to the Wachovia online banking platform as the systems integration continues as part of the merger. You can still find the interest paid year-to-date and interest accrued for the current period online when you click on a specific account and then click on 'account overview.' Additionally, your account statement includes the Annual Percentage Yield Earned for the period and you can find out the current Annual Percentage Yield for your account by visiting a Wachovia store or by calling 800-WACHOVIA. I hope this addresses your concerns.

It doesn't address my concern. I want to know what interest rate will be applied to todays current balance that will be used to figure TONIGHTs interest accural..... Not providing me with visibility of the rate that is to be applied to my account until after the interest is paid and the statement cuts, it's way to late.
